On this tour of the Museu da Amazônia, we will explore the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, which spans 100 hectares of forest.
Tour Details
We will pick you up from your hotel in Manaus at the scheduled time and proceed to the Museu da Amazônia for exploration of the native forest.
Our first stop will be the O Lenhador restaurant for lunch before heading to the Museu da Amazônia, also known as MUSA.
At the museum, we will walk along the trails and observe the diverse ecosystem, encountering butterflies, turtles, and fish along the way.
We will also visit the orchidarium, bromeliarium, and aquarium to learn about their conservation and significance to the local ecosystem, as well as the reptilarium, where we can view various species of endemic snakes.
To conclude our visit, we will ascend to an observatory 42 metres (137 ft) high to admire the beauty of the Brazilian Amazon. We will also watch the sunset from this viewpoint, capturing memorable photographs of this biodiverse region.
Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Manaus after 6 hours of exploring the fascinating flora of the Amazon.
