On this tour of the Museu da Amazônia, we will explore the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, which spans 100 hectares of forest.
Tour Details
We will pick you up from your hotel in Manaus at the scheduled time and proceed directly to the Museu da Amazônia. The first stop will be the O Lenhador restaurant for lunch. Afterward, we will proceed to MUSA for the main exploration.
At MUSA, we will take a walk along the trails to discover the diverse ecosystem, where we may encounter butterflies, turtles, and fish. We will also visit the orchidarium, bromeliarium, and aquarium to learn about their ecological importance. Additionally, there will be a visit to the reptilarium to observe various endemic snake species.
To conclude our visit, we will ascend to an observatory 42 metres (137 ft) high for a panoramic view of the Brazilian Amazon. We will also enjoy the sunset from this viewpoint, perfect for photography.
After 6 hours of exploring the unique flora of the Amazon, we will return you to your hotel in Manaus.
