At sunrise, we'll take a boat ride along the coast of Mancora to watch humpback whales and enjoy a swim with sea turtles.

Mancora Whale Watching + Swimming with Turtles

Pickup will be at 6 am at your hotel in Mancora. We will proceed to the town's pier and board a catamaran for a dawn sailing experience in one of the most beautiful areas of the northern coast of Peru.

During the sailing, we will look to spot humpback whales, which migrate through these waters between July and October for reproduction. There may also be opportunities to see dolphins or sea lions.

After whale watching, we'll dive into the Pacific Ocean for an unforgettable swim with sea turtles. Approach the turtles gently, as they can grow up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) in width.

We will then return to the boat to enjoy music on board. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks and food for consumption on the deck. We will dock back at the pier and return you to your hotel in Mancora, arriving between 10:30 and 11 am.

Animal watching

The coast of Mancora is known for good sightings of humpback whales and sea turtles. However, the animals are unpredictable, and sightings may vary based on weather conditions and the breeding seasons of the species.
