On this 3-day tour through Tumbes and Máncora, participants will explore the mangroves of Puerto Pizarro and swim with sea turtles.
Description
Day 1: Máncora
Upon arrival at the bus station in Máncora, transportation will be provided to your beach hotel. The remainder of the day is free for relaxing and enjoying hotel facilities.
Day 2: Máncora - Manglares de Tumbes - Máncora
After a breakfast at the hotel, a minibus will take you to some of the notable beaches in Máncora, including Zorritos and Punta Sal. Following this, the itinerary includes a visit to the city of Tumbes for a boat tour through the mangroves of Puerto Pizarro, with a cruise around the Islas de los Pájaros and el Amor. A visit to a crocodile farm is also part of the day.
After these activities, participants will return to Máncora for the night.
Day 3: Coastal walk and turtle swim in Máncora
After breakfast at the hotel, a boat ride along the coast will allow you to view the beaches of Los Órganos and Vichayito, including sightings of sea lions. The highlight of the tour will be swimming with sea turtles.
Post-swim, there will be free time at Los Órganos beach before transport to the bus station in Máncora, expected arrival at 3:30 pm.
