Manfredonia Private Tour

On the day of the activity, we'll meet in Piazzale Silvio Ferri, in Manfredonia, to begin a tour of the most emblematic places of this Apulian city, founded by Manfredi of Swabia. The tour will cover significant sites, starting with the Swabian-Angevin-Aragonese castle, near the sea. Inside, we will visit the National Archaeological Museum of Manfredonia, known for the Stele Daunie and artifacts from the archaeological site of Siponto.

Following the museum, we will visit the equestrian statue of King Manfredi and walk through the historic center of Manfredonia to the Cathedral of San Lorenzo Maiorano, which houses the image of the Madonna of Siponto, dating back to the 5th century. We will observe it from outside and then enter to see the city’s patron saint.

After two hours of exploring, we will conclude the private tour.
