Manizales Avocado Tour

The Manizales Avocado Tour starts with a pickup at 8 am from your hotel in Manizales. This tour focuses on one of Colombia's main export products, the avocado.

Participants will visit an agro-ecological farm to learn about the cultivation of avocados. The farm has received a certificate of Good Environmental Practices, and visitors will gain insight into the measures taken to achieve this recognition.

The tour includes a visit to Hass avocado plantations, along with the opportunity to explore various avocado types grown in Colombia such as Papelillo, Santana, Semil, and Choquette. Tasting of these varieties will also be included.

Following the farm visit, attendees will participate in a guacamole workshop, where they will learn to prepare this creamy sauce traditionally using avocado. The workshop will conclude with a tasting of the guacamole made by the participants.

The tour will end with transportation back to Manizales, with drop-off at your hotel at 3 pm.
