Marsella Day Trip

At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Manizales and drive to the department of Risaralda, where Marsella is located.

On the way, we'll pass through the coffee plantations of the Cauca River Valley. Once in Marsella, we'll visit an agricultural farm, starting with an aperitif of patacones con hogao.

Next, we will tour the farm to see fruit trees and cocoa crops, followed by an organic chocolate-making workshop where you'll extract cocoa beans, roast, and grind them. We will prepare a chocolate drink using the extracted juice.

This drink will be accompanied by a regional lunch featuring a typical dish like "sancocho", made with chicken and local products.

After lunch, we will drive to the village for a cup of Colombian coffee in the main square and enjoy Marsella's colonial architecture, including the Casa de la Cultura, which functions as a museum and is a National Heritage Site.

We will also visit the Botanical Garden for a relaxing walk, and the José María Cemetery, another notable site in Marsella.

Finally, we will return to Manizales and drop you off at your hotel at 4:30 pm.
