At 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Manta and travel by minibus to Machalilla National Park, a protected area on the Ecuadorian coast. We will enjoy coastal views until we reach Puerto López, where we will board a boat to Plata Island.

We will leave the coast of Manabí heading to the island referred to as "the small Galapagos". Expect to see exotic birds and, seasonally, humpback whales, which arrive from Antarctica every summer.

Upon arrival at Plata Island, we will observe the steep volcanic cliffs and varied vegetation, discussing the famous inhabitants such as the sea turtles in this oasis of biodiversity.

We will return to the boat for a lunch on board during the return to Puerto Lopez, featuring a local dish and dessert. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the town before returning to the minibus for the trip back to Manta, arriving at your hotel by 2:30 pm.
