At 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Manta and set off in a minibus to Machalilla National Park, a protected area on the Ecuadorian coast. We'll enjoy ocean views as we travel to Puerto López, where we'll board a boat to Plata Island.

We will head towards this island known as "the small Galapagos." There is an opportunity to see exotic birds and, depending on the season, humpback whales that arrive every summer from Antarctica.

Upon arrival at Plata Island, we will observe steep volcanic cliffs and varied vegetation. We will also discuss the island's most famous inhabitants, including sea turtles, highlighting its rich biodiversity.

On our return journey, we’ll have lunch on board that includes a local dish and dessert. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the town before returning to the minibus and starting the journey back to Manta, with an estimated arrival at your hotel at 2:30 pm.
