Cuyutlán Lagoon & Eco Turtle Reserve Excursion

On this excursion to the Cuyutlán Lagoon and Eco Turtle Reserve, we'll visit a center that protects turtles and other animals and take a boat ride through the area's mangroves.

Cuyutlán Lagoon & Eco Turtle Reserve Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Manzanillo at the appointed time and travel south to see two great natural attractions of the state of Colima.

Following an hour-long drive, we'll arrive at our first stop, El Tortugario Ecológico de Cuyutlán. At this turtle conservation center, we'll go on a guided tour to learn about the work they do with endemic animals that are in danger of extinction.

Turtles, crocodiles, iguanas… Throughout the tour, we'll provide information about these and other species while we walk through the facilities of the refuge.

The excursion will then take us to Cuyutlán Lagoon, where we'll go on a boat ride to explore the wild flora and fauna that inhabit the area's mangroves.

We'll conclude the excursion at your hotel in Manzanillo after four and a half hours immersed in the nature of Colima.
