On this excursion to the Cuyutlán Lagoon and Eco Turtle Reserve, we'll visit a center that protects turtles and other animals and take a boat ride through the area's mangroves.

Cuyutlán Lagoon & Eco Turtle Reserve Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Manzanillo at the appointed time and travel south to see two great natural attractions of the state of Colima.

After an hour-long drive, we'll arrive at our first stop, El Tortugario Ecológico de Cuyutlán. At this turtle conservation center, we'll have a guided tour to learn about their efforts with endemic animals at risk of extinction.

Turtles, crocodiles, iguanas... Throughout the tour, we'll share various facts about these and other species while we explore the facilities of the refuge.

The excursion will then proceed to Cuyutlán Lagoon, where we'll enjoy a boat ride to examine the wild flora and fauna inhabiting the area's mangroves.

We will conclude the excursion at your hotel in Manzanillo after four and a half hours immersed in the nature of Colima.
