Port of Mahón Boat Trip
Having met up at the Levante dock, we'll set sail around the Port of Mahón. We'll set off eastbound aboard the Don Joan, a catamaran with an underwater viewing area.
Our boat trip will run along the mouth of Mahón's harbour. From the deck, you'll be able to make out the small islets that are dotted across this picturesque part of Menorca's capital. Isla del Rey, Isla Plana, and Isla del Lazareto are just some of the islets you'll be able to spot!
When you look next to the Isla del Lazareto, you'll catch a glimpse of the Fortress of La Mola, officially known as the Fortress of Isabel II, which is one of Menorca's significant historical military strongholds.
If we're lucky with the weather, you'll be able to go down to the boat's four underwater viewing rooms. They have a total of 24 panoramic windows, the largest in Menorca, from which you'll see the marine wildlife that inhabits this part of the island.
We'll finish our boat trip by returning to the dock where we first set sail. See you next time!
