Discover Maputo on two wheels and at your own pace. Combine tourism and exercise as you explore the capital of Mozambique by bike.

Maputo Bike Rental

From 7 am to 7 pm, you can rent a bike in Maputo for four hours. Collect the bike at number 417 on Avenida Kwame Nkrumah, where you'll also receive a helmet, lock, and a city map. This allows you to explore the capital of Mozambique at your leisure.

Consider cycling to the south of the city to see iconic monuments, including the European-influenced central train station, built in the early 20th century and considered one of the city's most attractive buildings.

Just a few blocks north, visit Independence Square (Praça da Independência), featuring Maputo City Hall to the north and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception to the east. Nearby attractions include Iron House, designed for the governor of Mozambique, and the picturesque Tunduru Gardens, established in 1885 by British gardener Thomas Honney.

Another option is to cycle to Rua dos Lusiadas to visit the Natural History Museum and the Museum of Geology. The exploration opportunities are numerous!

After four hours, return to the initial meeting point to drop off the bike.
