Discover the capital of Mozambique on this guided tour of Maputo. The Cathedral, the Central Railway Station, and the Central Market are just some of the sites that await!
Description
At the time of your choice, we'll meet next to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and head to Praça da Independência, where we will find the Statue of Samora Machel, the father of Mozambique's independence.
Next, we will walk past the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Center and the Casa de Ferro, locations that highlight the country's history. Following this, we'll explore the Tunduru Gardens and the Central Market, where we will discover typical products from the region.
Our tour continues toward the Maputo Central Railway Station, observing the capital's first Mosque along the way. The station may look familiar as it was a filming location for the movie Blood Diamond!
The last stop will be at the Fortress of Maputo, where we will admire its walls and discuss its strategic past.
Finally, we will return to the starting point after this 3-hour tour.
