Maputo Special Reserve Tour

At 6:00 am, we will depart from 417 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in the capital of Mozambique. Traveling onboard a 4x4, we will pass through Catembe and other southern towns, arriving at Puerta Futi after a two-hour drive. Note that the entrance fee of 15 US dollars per person is not included.

Upon entering the Maputo Special Reserve (77,400 hectares), our safari will commence, allowing us to observe a range of native African animals, including elephants, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, and impalas, as well as various birds.

The first portion of the tour will conclude with a light lunch by Lake Munde, where we will witness different bird species. Following lunch, our safari will resume towards Lake Xinguti, where we will stop briefly for coffee and observe hippos and wading birds.

We will return to the starting point in Maputo by approximately 2:30 pm. During the return journey, we will engage in a quiz on African wildlife to enhance the experience.
