On this hiking route along the coast of Mar del Plata, we'll discover the urban nature reserves located in this area of the province of Buenos Aires.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Centro Comercial del Puerto shopping center, located next to the docks of Mar del Plata.

We'll set off on a hiking route to explore the urban nature reserves on the coast of Mar del Plata. A Spanish-speaking guide will lead us on a low-difficulty route that begins with a visit to the Mar del Plata Port Nature Reserve, home to a colony of sea lions.

After learning about this important urban nature reserve, we'll observe how this ecosystem extends to the lagoons of Punta Mogotes. As we walk along the coastal area, we'll check out the environmental richness and its transformation by humans over time. The guide will share stories about the evolution of these landscapes. A picnic will be included, consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a bottle of mineral water.

We'll return to the starting point along the extensive beaches of Punta Mogotes. The last stop will be at the Museo del Hombre del Puerto, where we'll explore the historical, cultural, and environmental evolution of the coast of Mar del Plata and its reserves.

The tour will finish with our return to the meeting point after 4 hours of activity.
