Embark on an enriching hiking journey along the Mar del Plata coastline, where you will uncover the urban nature reserves of Buenos Aires province.
Description
We will convene at the designated time at the Centro Comercial del Puerto, conveniently situated beside the Mar del Plata docks.
As everyone gathers, we will commence our hike to explore the coastal urban nature reserves surrounding Mar del Plata. Accompanied by a guide fluent in Spanish, we'll embark on a low-difficulty path, beginning our adventure at the Nature Reserve of Mar del Plata Port, renowned for its remarkable colony of sea lions.
After absorbing the significance of this vital urban nature reserve, we will proceed towards the lagoons of Punta Mogotes. During our stroll through this scenic coastal region, we will appreciate the natural biodiversity of the area, alongside the impact of human activity over the years. Our guide will share engaging stories that highlight the transformation of the landscapes we encounter. A delightful picnic awaits us along the way, featuring a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a bottle of mineral water.
Afterward, we will head back to our starting point, taking a leisurely walk along the beautiful beaches of Punta Mogotes. Our final stop will be at the Museo del Hombre del Puerto, where we will further explore the historical, cultural, and environmental developments that have shaped the coastline and its reserves throughout the years.
The tour will conclude with our return to the meeting point after an engaging 4-hour experience.
