Seville Day Trip
First thing in the morning we'll leave from 1 Avenida Ramón y Cajal in Marbella, and head to Sevilla. We will begin with a guided tour of its historic centre, exploring Paseo de Colón, la Plaza de América, la Avenida de las Palmeras, María Luisa Park, and the Guadalquivir River, which divides the city into Sevilla and the Triana neighborhood.
Next, we will visit the famous Plaza de España for photo opportunities among its beautifully ornamented benches.
Then we will proceed to the Walled Gardens (Jardines de Murillo) and the Santa Cruz neighborhood, the old Jewish quarter that was home to a significant Jewish community during the reign of Fernando III.
Our route continues to the Seville Cathedral, the third largest in the world. This majestic structure was built in the 15th century on the foundations of a late 12th-century mosque.
After touring the cathedral, you will have free time to eat and continue exploring Seville. We will regroup at the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) on the banks of the Guadalquivir to conclude the day.
