Fresh fruit, chocolate, olive oil, and wine feature on this food tour through August Margaret River. Enjoy the flavors of Western Australia while visiting wineries, farms, and beautiful natural areas.

Description

When making your reservation, you can choose between two options. Both options begin and end at your hotel in Margaret River and include an English-speaking guide and tastings:

5-hour tour

This option starts with a visit to a specialty gourmet coffee shop for an artisanal cup of coffee. Then, explore the wine culture of the Augusta Margaret River region with visits to two local wineries, viewing vineyards, barrel rooms, sampling wines, and learning about the production process.

Next, enjoy a walk through natural areas like Boranup Forest or Margaret River mouth, depending on weather conditions. Following the walk, visit a fruit farm to learn about cultivation and sample artisanal ciders and liqueurs produced on-site. The tour concludes with a traditional dish before returning to your hotel.

7-hour tour

This option includes the same itinerary but substitutes the fruit farm visit with a trip to an emu and alpaca farm. Instead of a traditional meal, enjoy a breakfast featuring homemade sweets, coffee, and tea. Additionally, visit a chocolate factory for samples and an extra stop at another winery. The tour highlights a lunch at a local restaurant on an olive farm, paired with an olive oil tasting.
