Fresh fruit, chocolate, olive oil, and wine feature on this food tour through August Margaret River. Enjoy the flavors of Western Australia while visiting wineries, farms, and beautiful natural areas.

Description

Reservations offer two different options, both beginning and ending at your hotel in Margaret River, including an English-speaking guide and various tastings:

5-hour tour

This tour starts with a visit to a specialty gourmet coffee shop for an artisanal coffee. Next, explore the wine culture of the Augusta Margaret River region, visiting two local wineries to see vineyards and barrel rooms, sampling wines produced on-site, and learning about the wine-making process.

Continue with a walk in Boranup Forest or at the Margaret River mouth, dependent on weather conditions. Following the walk, visit a fruit farm for insights into cultivation and sample artisanal ciders and liqueurs. Conclude with a traditional dish before returning to your hotel.

7-hour tour

This extended option includes a visit to an emu and alpaca farm instead of the fruit farm, including a breakfast with homemade sweets, coffee, and tea. Additional stops include a chocolate factory and another winery. A highlight is a lunch at a local restaurant on an olive farm with an olive oil tasting session.
