Fresh fruit, chocolate, olive oil, and wine feature on this food tour through August Margaret River. Enjoy the flavors of Western Australia while visiting wineries, farms, and beautiful natural areas.

Description

When making your reservation, you can choose between two different options. Both options begin and end at your hotel in Margaret River and include a guide in English and different tastings:

5-hour tour

With this option, the tour starts at a specialty gourmet coffee shop, followed by a visit to two local wineries to learn about the wine culture of the Augusta Margaret River region. You will view the vineyards, enter the barrel rooms, and sample wines produced on-site.

Next, explore natural areas, such as Boranup Forest or Margaret River mouth, depending on the weather. Afterward, visit a fruit farm to learn more about cultivation and sample artisanal ciders and liqueurs made on-site. The tour concludes with a traditional dish before returning to your hotel.

7-hour tour

This option includes all features of the 5-hour tour but replaces the visit to the fruit farm with an excursion to an emu and alpaca farm. Here, you will enjoy a breakfast with homemade sweets, coffee, and tea. Additionally, visit a chocolate factory for tastings and make an extra stop at another winery. The tour culminates with a lunch at a local restaurant on an olive farm, including an olive oil tasting session.
