On this tour, we'll paddle surf around Marina del Rey while learning about sea lions and observing these creatures. This unique experience is a must for anyone in LA.

Paddle Surfing with Sea Lions

At the selected time, we'll gather at Marina del Rey and walk to Mother's Beach, where we'll begin a two-hour paddleboard tour of this area of Los Angeles.

First, we'll provide an introduction on handling the boards, and then we'll head into the Pacific waters. As we paddle around the harbor, we'll see fishing boats and spot sea lion colonies resting on the docks.

We'll share interesting facts about these animals, including their external ears, which cause them to swim at shallower depths than seals. Participants may hear the distinctive sounds they make for communication.

As we paddle, we'll also spot hawks, seagulls, and pelicans, and there may be friendly dolphins in the area.

Finally, we'll return to the beach and conclude the experience by returning the paddle surfboards.
