Trip Description

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

We will leave Marrakech for Ouarzazate, a journey of approximately 4 hours. We'll cross the Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Following this, we will continue to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will then travel along the Thousand Kasbahs Road to Skoura, arriving in the Dades Valley before sunset for our first night's accommodation.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast, we'll explore the Dades Valley and the Todra Gorges, enjoying the views. We'll pass Jorf Palm Grove, known for its dates, and break for lunch before reaching Erfoud, noted for its fossil fragments. In Merzouga, we'll switch to camels to head into the desert for the night at the camp, with an option for a quad bike tour at additional cost. Dinner will be served under the stars.

Day 3: Rissani - Ziz Valley - Middle Atlas - Fez

After witnessing the desert sunrise, we will shower and have breakfast at the camp before our camel ride. We will then travel to Fez, passing through Tafilalet and Rissani, with a stop at the monkey forest in Azrou and Ifrane. We expect to arrive in Fez around 6 pm. Transportation will be by taxi with an English, Spanish, or French-speaking driver, depending on availability.
