Trip Description
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
At the designated time, we'll leave Marrakech for Ouarzazate. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, crossing the Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. We'll stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before reaching Ouarzazate to see the Kasbah of Taourirt. Later, we'll travel along the Thousand Kasbahs Road to the Roses Valley, arriving in Dades Valley for our first night's accommodation, potentially in Skoura on some occasions.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga
After breakfast, we'll explore the Dades Gorges and the Todra Gorges. Next, we'll travel to Merzouga, crossing the Jorf Palm Grove and stopping for lunch in Erfoud. After visiting fossil remains in Erfoud, we’ll head to Merzouga where you can opt for a camel ride to the desert camp or participate in a quad bike tour (additional cost). In Erg Chebbi, we'll enjoy dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Rissani - Ziz Valley - Middle Atlas - Fez
We'll start the day with a sunrise in the desert, followed by breakfast and a shower at the camp before our camel ride. Then, we’ll travel to Fez via Tafilalet and Rissani, stopping at the monkey forest in Azrou and Ifrane. We expect to arrive in Fez around 6 pm. The journey may utilize a taxi with an English, Spanish, or French-speaking driver, subject to availability.
