Tour Details

Day 1: Marrakech - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - The Dadès Valley

Depart from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, 7414 feet (2,260 meters) high. Stop at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah for approximately 2.5 hours for exploration and lunch. Continue to Ouarzazate for a 30-minute photo opportunity at Taourirt Kasbah. Proceed along “The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” through the Valley of the Roses to the Dadès Valley for overnight stay.

Day 2: Dadès Valley - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast, head to Todgha Gorges for sightseeing. Next, travel to Merzouga, stopping at Jorf palm grove for lunch before reaching Erfoud. Transition from motor vehicles to camels to arrive at a Bedouin camp for an overnight stay, enjoying a local dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tizi n'Tichka - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

Experience the sunrise in the desert, then have breakfast at the camp. Travel through the Tafilalet palm grove and Rissani village before heading to Alnif, crossing the Anti-Atlas. Reach Kalaat M'Gouna around midday for lunch, then return to Marrakesh via Ouarzazate, arriving at your hotel or the airport around 8:30 pm.

Tour Accommodation

On the first night, stay in Dades at various hotels. On the second night, accommodation is at the Merzouga camp, with standard camps having communal bathrooms and superior camps offering private bathrooms. Each category features different food and decor. Rooms can be doubles, triples, or family, with single supplements for individual bookings.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup is free from hotels or riads outside the Medina. A supplement of 10EUR to 40EUR applies for locations outside Marrakech.
