Private Trip Details

Day 1: Marrakesh - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate

Depart from Marrakech in the morning towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. Visit Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, an 800-year-old fortified city. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Draa Valley – Tazarine – El Mharech Oasis

After breakfast and visiting Taourirt Kasbah, travel to Zagora via the Tizi n-Tinifift pass at 1,600 meters. Explore the Draa Valley, visiting Amazigh villages and kasbahs. Spend the night in a typical riad in the desert.

Day 3: Mharech - Ramlia Oasis - Ouzina Dunes - Merzouga

Follow the Dakar Rally tracks, exploring wadis and oases. Visit Khamlia and then Erg Chebbi dunes. Ride a camel to an Amazigh camp for the night.

Day 4: Merzourga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Depart for Rissani, the origin of the Alawi Dynasty, then travel to Erfoud and Tafilat. Visit Todgha Gorges and overnight in the Dades Valley camp.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Skoura – Marrakech

Travel along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of the Roses to Skoura, before returning to Marrakech.
