Explore the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas on a day trip to the picturesque Imlil village and the famous Kik Plateau.

Day Trip Details

The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Marrakech, followed by a journey in a 4x4 or minibus through the Imlil Valley. We will travel through the Haouz plain towards the Agafay desert, with our first stop at Lalla Takerkoust Lake, fed by water from the Grand Atlas Mountains.

Next, we visit Aguergour for Moroccan mint tea with a local family and learn about their traditions. We will continue to the stunning Kik Plateau.

Before reaching Imlil, we will stop at the small town of Asni, where we may explore the Amazigh market if the tour is on a Saturday.

In Imlil, you will embark on a walking tour with an English-speaking guide, followed by a 1-hour mule tour. We will then return to the vehicle and travel through various Amazigh settlements, including Aroumed, where we can admire cherry and walnut tree terraces and view Jebel Toubkal.

Optionally, you may enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in Tagadirt at an Amazigh family’s home (not included in the tour price). Afterward, we'll take a short walk around the village and return to Marrakech.

The tour concludes after 9 hours of sightseeing back at the starting point.
