Explore the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas on a day trip to the picturesque Imlil village and the famous Kik Plateau.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech and travel in an off-roading vehicle or minibus through the Imlil Valley. First, we head through the Haouz plain to the Agafay desert, about an hour from the city. Our first stop is at the man-made Lalla Takerkoust Lake for a 30-minute camel ride.

Next, we continue to the settlement of Aguergour where you will have Moroccan mint tea with a local family and learn about their traditions. We will explore the Kik Plateau before visiting the town of Asni. On Saturdays, we will visit the local Amazigh market.

Afterward, a local guide will take us on a tour of Imlil to see typical buildings. We will then drive through Berber areas like Aroumed to admire the mountain scenery, including Jebel Toubkal.

Before returning to Marrakech, you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in Tagadirt, if desired. This will be followed by a short walk in the village and then we will return after 9 hours of sightseeing.
