Trip Description
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
Departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate in approximately 4 hours, crossing the Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka pass. Stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before continuing to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. The journey will end in the Dades Valley, where accommodation will be provided (may also be at Skoura).
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga
After breakfast, head towards the Dades Valley and explore the Todra Gorges. Continue to Merzouga, crossing Jorf Palm Grove with a lunch break before reaching Erfoud, known for fossil fragments. In Merzouga, guests can choose a camel ride to the desert camp or a quad bike tour (additional cost). Dinner in Erg Chebbi under the stars is included.
Day 3: Rissani - Ziz Valley - Middle Atlas - Fez
Start the day with a sunrise in the desert, followed by a shower and breakfast at the camp. Depart for Fez, passing Rissani and Tafilalet, and making a stop at the monkey forest in Azrou and Ifrane. Arrival in Fez is expected around 6 pm. Transport can be via taxi with English, Spanish, or French-speaking drivers, subject to availability.
Tour Accommodation
The first night will be spent in Dades, with accommodations such as Dar Essyaha, Hotel Babylon, or others for both standard and superior options. The second night will be in a haima camp in Merzouga. The standard camp has a maximum capacity of 4 with shared amenities, while the superior camp accommodates 5 with private facilities. Accommodation differences include lunch and interior decoration. Air-conditioning incurs an additional charge of 30EUR per person, and not all camps have wifi. Room types include double, triple, or family options.
