2-Day Trekking Tour to Mount Toubkal

Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Mount Toubkal

Your adventure kicks off with a 9 am departure from your accommodation in Marrakech. After approximately two hours on the road, we’ll reach Imlil, a quaint village nestled in the Atlas Mountains, positioned at an elevation of 5905,5118 feet (1800 metres). Here, we will embark on a trekking journey lasting around five hours.

The initial stretch will lead us to Sidi Chamharouch, famously referred to as "the Devil's Sultan." We will pause here, standing at over 7545,930 feet (2300 metres), to enjoy a hearty lunch while soaking in breathtaking vistas. Refreshed and revitalized, we will then continue our trek towards a mountain lodge situated at the base of Mount Toubkal. Upon arrival, a delightful dinner will await, providing a cozy atmosphere to rest before a big day ahead.

Day 2: Mount Toubkal - Imlil - Marrakech

Following an energizing breakfast at the mountain lodge, we will embark on a challenging nine-hour hike to the summit of Mount Toubkal, which stands at an impressive 13451.44 feet (4100 metres). Upon reaching the top, you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views.

After taking in the awe-inspiring scenery, we will make our way back down to the mountain's base for a revitalizing lunch prepared by our dedicated guide. Once we are fueled up, we will continue our hike to Imlil. Subsequently, we’ll return by road to Marrakech, arriving between 4 and 6 pm.

Accommodation

This two-day expedition includes a night's stay at the Toubkal Refuge mountain lodge, ensuring a comfortable retreat amidst your adventure.

3-Day Trekking Route

If you opt for the three-day trek, the itinerary will closely mirror that of the two-day course.

On the first day, the path will take us through Marrakech, Imlil, and onward to the Azzaden Valley. On the second day, the focus will shift to the journey between the Azzaden Valley and Mount Toubkal.

Finally, the third day will see us retrace our steps from Mount Toubkal to Imlil and then back to Marrakech, as outlined previously.
