Mount Toubkal 2-day Trekking Tour
Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Mount Toubkal
We'll depart from your accommodation in Marrakech at 9 am. After a two-hour drive, we'll arrive in Imlil, a small mountain village in the Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 5905 feet (1800 metres). We'll start a 5-hour trekking route to Sidi Chamharouch, known as "the Devil's Sultan," where we'll have lunch at an altitude of more than 7545 feet (2300 metres). After lunch, we'll continue to a mountain lodge at the foot of Mount Toubkal for dinner and rest.
Day 2: Mount Toubkal - Imlil - Marrakech
We'll have breakfast at the lodge before starting a nine-hour hike to the summit of Mount Toubkal at 13451 feet (4100 metres). After enjoying the view, we'll descend to the base for lunch prepared by our guide. After lunch, we'll walk to Imlil and then return to Marrakech, arriving between 4 and 6 pm.
Accommodation
This 2-day trek includes one night's accommodation at the Toubkal Refuge mountain lodge.
3-Day Route
If you choose this option, we'll follow a very similar itinerary. On the first day, we'll trek from Marrakech to Imlil and the Azzaden Valley. The second day will involve walking between the Azzaden Valley and Mount Toubkal. On the third day, we'll take the same return route to Imlil and then to Marrakech.
