Northern Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Ride

Leave behind the bustling Marrakech old town and enjoy the experience of flying over Morocco's most beautiful landscapes in total silence.

Activity Details

After picking you up from your hotel, the tour proceeds north to the take-off area, located between 35 minutes and an hour away. Upon arrival, balloon inflation begins. Early morning is ideal for flying due to the calm air and soft light of dawn. We will take off and drift silently through the sky for between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on wind and weather conditions. Following the flight, enjoy tea and a traditional breakfast with locals before returning via scenic 4x4 tracks. The total experience lasts between 4 and 5 hours.

You can choose the type of balloon ride based on the time of day. Below are the schedules according to the season:

First flight of the day:
November 1 to February 28: starts at 6:30 am.March 1 to May 31: begins at 6 am.June 1 to August 31: starts at 5 am.September 1 to October 31: begins at 6 am.
Second flight of the day:
November 1 to February 28: starts between 7 am and 7:15 am.March 1 to May 31: begins between 6:45 am and 7 am.June 1 to August 31: starts between 5:45 am and 7 am.September 1 to October 31: begins between 6:45 am and 7 am.

Note that the time of the second flight can vary for organisational and climate reasons. Confirmation will occur after booking.
