Northern Marrakech Sunrise Balloon Ride

Leave behind the bustling Marrakech old town and allow yourself the pleasure of flying over Morocco's most beautiful landscapes in total silence. There is nothing that compares to the sensation of flying in a hot air balloon and watching the sun rise over the horizon.

Activity Details

After picking you up from your hotel, the tour heads north to Jebilet, about an hour away. Upon arrival, balloon inflation begins and the adventure takes off. Early morning is ideal for flying due to calm air and soft dawn light. We'll take off and drift silently through the sky for about an hour, depending on wind and weather conditions. After landing, enjoy tea and a traditional breakfast with locals before returning via scenic 4x4 tracks. We’ll arrive back after a total of about 5 hours.

Activity Options

When booking, you can choose the type of balloon ride based on the time of day. Below are the schedules for each type according to the season:

First flight of the day:
From November 1 to February 28, the ride starts at 6:30 am.From March 1 to May 31, it begins at 6 am.From June 1 to August 31, it begins at 5 am.From September 1 to October 31, it begins at 6 am.
Second flight of the day:
It takes place at 7 am throughout the year.
