Day Trip Details

Leaving Marrakech, we head towards the Grand Atlas Mountains. We cross the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, at 2,260 metres high, enjoying the mountain scenery and Berber villages. Before reaching Ouarzazate, we will stop at Aït Benhaddou, a famous walled city recognized as a filming location for productions such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, and the TV show Game of Thrones.

Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you will have free time to eat, explore the city, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, or check out the cinema museum that contributes to Ouarzazate's reputation as "Africa's Hollywood." The tour will return to Marrakech in the late evening.

Hotel Pickup

If you're staying inside the Medina, pickup is at KFC Marrakech (Av. Mohammed V) or at Pharmacy The Place (Jemaa el-Fnaa Square), depending on availability. For those outside the old town, we will pick you up from your hotel or riad. A supplement of 10EUR to 40EUR will apply for hotels in the Marrakech outskirts, based on distance.
