If you're staying in Marrakech and want to explore the desert at your leisure, you can book any of our private tours. These tours are 2 to 4 days long and include pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, transport in a luxury private vehicle with an English-speaking driver and standard or premium accommodation.

Here's what each trip includes:

2 Day Zagora Desert Tour

Experience Morocco on a 2-day trip to the Zagora Sahara Desert and visit traditional Amazigh communities. You'll travel across part of the Atlas mountain range, the Drâa Valley and its palm grove before entering the Zagora Desert, where you'll ride a camel and spend the night in a traditional Amazigh haima. The next day, you'll enjoy a desert sunrise and return to Marrakech via the Drâa Valley and Agdez, stopping at Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt.

3 Day Merzouga Desert Tour

On a 3-day tour to Merzouga, you'll visit the Kasbah de Ait-Ben-Haddou, explore Ouarzazate, and cross the Valley of the Roses, spending the night in the Dadès Gorges. The second day includes exploring the Dadès Valley and the Todra Gorge, arriving in Merzouga. On the last day, you'll experience a desert sunrise and travel back through Tazarine to Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Option to end the tour in Fez.

4 Day Merzouga Desert Tour

This 4-day tour includes a visit to the Atlas Mountains, Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and the Dadès Gorges. You'll explore the Todra Gorge and Merzouga with a camel ride. On day three, enjoy a desert sunrise before returning to Ouarzazate. The tour concludes with a visit to the Atlas Film Studios and the Kasbah Taourirt before returning to Marrakech.

Accommodation

On the 2-day trip to Zagora, accommodations include a desert camp with shared facilities. The 3 and 4-day trips to Merzouga feature standard or superior accommodations, including hotels or desert camps with shared bathrooms:

The price is per person sharing a double room; triple and family rooms are also available. Air-conditioning in luxury camps incurs an additional fee of 30EUR per person.
