Barataria Preserve Boat Trip
Meet up at the pier on Barataria Boulevard, south of New Orleans, for an adventure in Louisiana’s wetlands. Board a boat to sail through the Barataria Reserve, part of Jean Lafitte National Park, and witness the abundant flora and fauna including over 200 species of birds, snakes, turtles, and frogs. If fortunate, you may encounter alligators.
During the tour, experience a traditional fishing village and learn about the rich history of the First Nations through ancient settlements over 2000 years old. The exploration lasts for an hour and forty minutes.
