Barataria Preserve Boat Trip
We will meet at the pier on Barataria Boulevard, south of New Orleans, to start our journey in the wonderful wetlands of Louisiana. A boat will take us through the Barataria Reserve, part of the Jean Lafitte National Park. During the ride, we will discover the area's abundant flora and fauna, including over 200 species of birds, snakes, turtles, and frogs, and possibly spot alligators.
We will also see a traditional fishing village and learn about the rich past of the First Nations through ancient settlements that date back over 2000 years. The tour lasts one hour and forty minutes.
Hotel pickup
You can book a pickup service from your hotel in New Orleans. Pickup will occur one and a half hours before the boat ride, with drop-off provided afterward.
