Join us on an extraordinary trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam, where we'll immerse ourselves in the rich history of one of Ancient Egypt's most significant cities.
Description
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam for a journey lasting approximately five hours. Our adventure begins at the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore three tombs of pharaohs and nobles. Next, we will visit the funerary temple of Queen-Pharaoh Hatshepsut and learn about her history. You'll also see the Colossi of Memnon, which are statues of Amenophis III, standing at 14 meters (46 feet) tall for over 3,400 years.
Continuing, we will explore the grand Karnak Temple, discussing the significance of Egyptian mythology and the pharaohs who built these structures. A local lunch will be provided, including meat, sautéed vegetables, rice, and fresh fruit.
After this rewarding day of exploration, we will return to Marsa Alam, with drop-off at your hotel, concluding this 11-hour adventure in the heart of Ancient Egypt.
