Discover Provence by visiting three of its most important cities with this Arles, Saint Remy & Les Baux Day Trip. You'll explore the first-century Roman Empire and the works of Van Gogh & Dali.
Description
We meet at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Marseille and board a minibus with a guide who will share interesting traditions and stories of Provence.
Our first stop is Saint-Rémy de Provence, where you can visit Les Antiques, Roman monuments marking the entrance to Glanum. There’s also an option to see a recreation of the Van Gogh room. On Wednesdays, we will visit the local market.
Next, we go to Les Baux de Provence, a medieval fortress in the Alpilles region. You'll have free time to explore, and you may attend the sound and light show at the Carrières de Lumières (tickets not included) for an immersive experience that combines history, culture, and art.
Finally, we arrive in Arles, following the steps of Van Gogh to discover places that inspired his works. If you take the tour on Saturdays, you can attend the weekly market.
We return to Marseille after a total of 10.5 hours.
