Calanques National Park Kayaking Tour

On this kayaking tour around the Calanques National Park, participants will explore the coves in the south of Marseille and experience Mediterranean landscapes.

During the booking process, you can choose between three options. All tours start and end at 47 Impasse du Dr Bonfils, and include kayak rental and an English-speaking guide.

Full-Day Tour (9 Hours)

From the meeting point, a minibus will transport us to the kayaking location. After a briefing on kayak use, we will embark on an exciting kayaking tour of the Calanques National Park. The tour choice will depend on weather conditions:

Calanques National Park: Depart from Cassis to explore coves like Port Pin, En Vau, and Sugiton. Activities include kayaking near cliffs, exploring sea caves, and swimming in clear waters.French Riviera: Paddle from Port de la Lave or Carry-le-Rouet, exploring the coves of the French Riviera and visiting fishing ports like Niolon and La Redonne.Archipelago of Riou: Paddle from Callelongue towards the archipelago, visiting locations like the islet of La Melette and Ìle of Riou. Enjoy a secluded beach and potentially a second coastal route depending on weather.

Morning Tour (4 Hours)

This tour seeks the southern island of Maer, where participants will observe cliffs and local bird species, including white-throated kingfishers and seagulls. A stop at Plage de Cap Croisette allows for a refreshing swim.

Sunset Tour (4 Hours)

This tour follows the same itinerary as the Morning Tour but includes extended paddling around the south of the Island of Maïre without stopping at the beach. Scenic views during sunset are part of the experience.
