The Le Panier Guided Tour offers a historical journey spanning 2,600 years, commencing at 10 am by the Vieux Port metro exit (Quai des Belges). Participants will learn about the modernization of Marseille, focusing on renovations from 2013, including the Docks, Silo, Villa Méditerranée, and the MUCEM (Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations).

The tour includes a walk along the seafront leading to the Le Panier district, the oldest area in Marseille and France. Highlights include the 19th-century La Major Cathedral and the chance to explore narrow streets adorned with street art, resembling an open-air museum.

Significant landmarks such as the Vieille Charité and Place des Moulins will be introduced, with discussions on the founding of Marseille. The tour features a tasting of chocolate navettes (a type of French biscuit) at Place de Lenche.

Concluding at 12 pm in front of the Saint-Laurent church, one of the city's oldest, participants can enjoy views of the Vieux-Port and the MUCEM. The guide will address questions and provide tips for further exploration of Marseille.
