Marseille, Cassis, and Aix-en-Provence Tour

Description

The tour begins at Marseille City Hall. Participants will board a minibus driven by a guide who will share the history and anecdotes of the French Riviera.

We will commence with a panoramic bus tour of Marseille, allowing participants to view key landmarks. A stop will be made at the Notre Dame de la Garde basilica, followed by a walking tour of the Le Panier district.

Next, we will visit Cassis, passing Cape Canille, the highest sea cliff in France, for scenic views. Upon arrival at the port of Cassis, participants will have free time for swimming, sunbathing, or exploring the village. Notable sites include the Church of Saint-Michel and a castle from the 13th century.

From Cassis, we will travel to Aix-en-Provence, where guests can sample local specialties and wander along the Avenue Mirabeau, connecting the city’s historic and modern areas. The tour includes time for participants to explore Aix-en-Provence during the visit.

The tour concludes with a return to the starting point after approximately 9.5 - 10 hours.
