Explore the beautiful region of southeastern France with this Provence day trip from Marseille. Visit Les Baux de Provence, the Pont du Gard, Avignon, and enjoy a wine tasting at Châteauneuf du Pape.
Provence Day Trip
We'll meet at the designated time at the Radisson Blu Hotel entrance in Marseille and board a minibus to the interior of Provence.
Our first stop will be Les Baux de Provence, a medieval fortress built on a massif in the middle of the Alpilles mountain range, where you'll have free time.
The next destination will be the Pont du Gard, the best-preserved Roman aqueduct, with its three floors and more than 40 metres (130 feet) high.
The tour will continue to Avignon, allowing free time for lunch and optional visits to the Papal Palace and the Saint Bénezet bridge (Pont d'Avignon).
The last stop will be a winery in Châteauneuf du Pape for a wine tasting, preceded by a panoramic walk through the surrounding vineyards.
The tour will conclude back in Marseille after a total of 11.5 hours.
