Explore the beautiful region of southeastern France with this Provence day trip from Marseille. Visit Les Baux de Provence, the Pont du Gard, Avignon, and enjoy a wine tasting at Châteauneuf du Pape.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time at the Radisson Blu Hotel entrance in Marseille and board a minibus to the interior of Provence.

Our first stop will be Les Baux de Provence, a medieval fortress built on a massif in the middle of the Alpilles mountain range. Here you'll enjoy some free time before continuing with the excursion.

Our next destination will be the Pont du Gard, recognized as the best-preserved Roman aqueduct. It features three floors and stands over 40 metres (130 feet) high, showcasing remarkable engineering of its time.

The tour will continue to Avignon, where you'll have free time for lunch and the option to visit the Papal Palace and the renowned Saint Bénezet bridge, also known as Pont d'Avignon, among other attractions.

The last stop will be a winery in Châteauneuf du Pape for a wine tasting, preceded by a panoramic walk through the surrounding vineyards.
