Bike Tour of Mascota

We'll meet at the time of your choice at the entrance to the Temple of the Precious Blood. From there, we'll begin our bike tour of Mascota.

We'll cycle around this structure to explore the unfinished walls of this 19th century basilica and its gardens. We'll bike through cobblestone streets to admire Mascota's characteristic adobe houses and arrive at the main square, where a Mudejar-style wrought-iron pavilion is located.

We'll stop in front of the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores to admire its baroque and neoclassical façade, as well as its three-part tower. Continuing our bike tour of Mascota, we'll reach the Archaeological Museum, which houses over 200 objects from the indigenous people of the area.

We'll bike up to the Cerrito de la Cruz, located 1 kilometre from the centre of Mascota, where we'll enjoy views of the town.

On our way back, we'll stop at a traditional tavern to taste raicilla, a local mezcal drink. After two hours of cycling, we'll conclude the activity back at the starting point.
