Mascota Guided Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet on Calle Libertad to begin an interesting guided tour of Mascota, a 'Magical Town' of Jalisco.

First, we'll walk through the main square to explore the nerve center of town, including its Mudéjar-style kiosk, the Municipal Palace, and surrounding colonial buildings.

Next, we'll stop at the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores to admire its preserved 18th-century Baroque portico and its three-bodied tower crowned by a cross.

We'll also enter the Archaeological Museum to view a unique collection of pre-Hispanic pieces found at the site of El Pantano, home to some of the oldest tribes in the area.

Continuing, we'll visit the unfinished Temple of the Precious Blood, which features grandiloquent walls, a small chapel with images of the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, Mary Magdalene, and Christ Crucified, as well as manicured gardens that host orchestras and plays.

After two hours of exploration, the tour will conclude at the starting point.
