On this panoramic tour of Matera, we'll take a two-hour ride to discover the main monuments of this city famous for its buildings carved out of rocks.

At the appointed time we'll meet at the meeting point and set off on this sightseeing tour of Matera, where we'll pass by the main attractions of this city in the Basilicata region.

Throughout the tour, you'll be provided with an audio guide in Italian and English with commentary about the history of Matera and the monuments you'll see.

We'll pass by places such as the Tramontano Castle, Palazzo Lanfranchi, and the Municipal Villa.

The tour will also take us to Barisano, part of the Sassi of Matera, where we’ll view the buildings carved into the rock, including the church of the Madonna delle Virtú and the church of San Pietro Caveoso.

We will see the Alvino 1884 complex and the sculpture park La Palomba, created by artist Antonio Paradiso.

Finally, we'll conclude our tour by returning to the starting point after a two-hour visit.
