At the appointed time, we'll meet at Via Alessandro Volta 5 and set off on this sightseeing tour of Matera, where we'll pass by the main attractions of this city in the Basilicata region.

You will receive an audio guide in Italian and English providing commentary about the history of Matera and the monuments you will see.

We will pass by emblematic places like the Tramontano castle on the hill of Lapillo and visit the church of San Agustino de Matera and the Belvedere Colombo viewpoint for panoramic views of the city.

Our tour will also take us to Barisano, part of the Sassi of Matera. From the vehicle, we will view the buildings carved into the rock, including the church of the Madonna delle Virtú and the church of San Pietro Caveoso.

Next, we will enter the Piccianello district towards the Murgia Materana Park and pass by the sculpture park La Palomba by artist Antonio Paradiso.

The tour concludes with a stop at a viewpoint to admire the Gravina stream and the Sassi of Matera before returning to the starting point after a 2-hour adventure.
