When you book the Sassi de Matera City Card, you have several options regarding the number of attractions included. Each card offers an audio guide and an interactive map available for download.

Tourist card for 4 attractions

This option allows access to four monuments in the Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano districts. The included attractions are the Madonna delle Grazie rock church, the Casa Grotta (cave house), the San Antonio Abate cave church, and the Museum of San Giorgio.

Tourist card for 5 attractions

This option grants access to five attractions, including all previous ones and the Casa Cava.

Tourist card for 6 attractions

This card offers access to all previous monuments plus the underground Matera Sum hypogeum.

How does it work?

The Sassi di Matera City Card is activated upon first use at any included attraction. It is valid for 48 hours from the first use.

Collection

After purchasing, collect the card from Alessandro Volta, 3/5, Matera. The office hours are:

Monday to Saturday: 9 am - 6 pm

Sunday: 9 am - 1 pm
