Description

When you book the Sassi de Matera City Card, you can choose from several options regarding the number of attractions included. Each option includes an audio guide and an interactive map that can be downloaded to your cell phone.

Tourist card for 4 attractions

This option allows you to visit four monuments located in the Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano districts. Attractions include the Madonna delle Grazie rock church, Casa Grotta (cave house), San Antonio Abate cave church, and the Museum of San Giorgio.

Tourist card for 5 attractions

This option grants access to five attractions, including all from the previous option, plus the Casa Cava.

Tourist card for 6 attractions

This card allows access to all monuments in the previous option, as well as the underground Matera Sum hypogeum.

How does it work?

The Sassi di Matera City Card is activated upon first use at one of the included attractions and is valid for 48 hours.

After purchasing the card, it can be collected from Alessandro Volta, 3/5, Matera. Office hours are:

Monday to Saturday: 9 am - 6 pm

Sunday: 9 am - 1 pm
