When you book the Sassi de Matera City Card, you have options regarding the number of attractions included. Each option includes an audio guide and an interactive map that can be downloaded to your cell phone.

Tourist card for 4 attractions

This option allows access to four monuments in the Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano districts. The attractions included are the Madonna delle Grazie rock church, the Casa Grotta (cave house), the San Antonio Abate cave church, and the Museum of San Giorgio.

Tourist card for 5 attractions

This option includes five attractions, which comprises all those previously mentioned plus the Casa Cava.

Tourist card for 6 attractions

The 6 attractions option grants access to all monuments included in the previous option, as well as the underground Matera Sum hypogeum.

How does it work?

The Sassi di Matera City Card is activated upon first use at one of the included attractions and is valid for 48 hours.

Collection

Once purchased, you can collect the card from Alessandro Volta, 3/5, Matera. The office is open at the following times:

Monday to Saturday: 9 am - 6 pm

Sunday: 9 am - 1 pm
