Who says playtime is just for kids? Relive the best parts of your childhood, where you'll have a blast sledding down the snowy slopes of the Bernese Alps!
Sledding in the Bernese Alps
Depending on your chosen tour option, we'll meet up at 15 Hauptstrasse. From this central point in Interlaken, our journey will head south toward a winter wonderland. After a brief 15-minute journey, we'll arrive at the charming village of Isenfluh, located in the canton of Bern. Here, we'll take a cable car to the Sulwald Alpine station, a scenic 5-minute ascent. If weather conditions are poor, an alternative activity location will be provided.
Your guide will explain proper sled handling. Each guest will steer their sled through the snowy terrain without the aid of animals. The sled ride will last 1 hour, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Swiss Alps, complete with forests and snow-covered meadows. Nighttime sledding offers a unique experience as the landscapes are illuminated by moonlight.
After the 1-hour sled ride, we'll return to Sulwald station and take the cable car back to Isenfluh. We will conclude our journey back at the meeting point in Interlaken approximately 3 hours after our initial pickup.
