Bay of Mazatlán Speedboat Tour + Whale Museum Tickets

Tour Details

After hotel pickup, we will depart for the Mazatlán Marina where we will board a semi-rigid speedboat to start our ride around the bay.

We will first view the islands of Mazatlán: Isla de Venados, Isla de Pájaros, Isla de Lobos, and islote Dos Hermanos. These protected areas are notable for their unique fauna and flora. Keep an eye on the sky for birds like the red-billed woodpeckers and brown boobies.

During the ride, we will also see formations like El Crestón and El Cardó. Dolphins and sea lions may be spotted in these waters.

After exploring the bay, we will stop at the Isla de Venados for half an hour of swimming and snorkeling in the clear waters.

We will then return to the boat to conclude the 3-hour trip.

Whale Museum

At the end of the tour, participants will receive tickets to visit the MUNBA, the Whale Museum, where they can learn about whales, their history in the Mexican Pacific, and their role in the marine ecosystem.

The tickets can be used at any time during your stay in Mazatlán.
