Durango Day Trip

After a 6 am pick-up from your hotel in Mazatlan, we will drive north on the Durango highway, crossing the Baluarte Bridge, one of the tallest cable-stayed bridges globally. Following approximately 90 minutes of travel, we will reach Durango, located in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. Our first stop will be at the Francisco Villa Museum, dedicated to Pancho Villa, a key figure in the Mexican Revolution.

Next, we will tour Durango via its iconic cable car, which provides views of the old town. Afterward, we will walk through the area to see colonial buildings, including the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Around midday, we will break for a picnic lunch featuring local products. After lunch, we will continue our exploration of Durango's historic center, highlighted by the picturesque Plaza del IV Centenario.

We will conclude the day by returning to Mazatlan, with an estimated arrival at your hotel by 6 pm.
