Discover the legacy of Pancho Villa and the historical heritage of Durango on this day trip from Mazatlan.

Durango Day Trip

After picking you up at 6 am from your hotel in Mazatlan, we will drive north on the Durango highway, crossing the Baluarte Bridge, one of the tallest cable-stayed bridges in the world.

After approximately 90 minutes, we will arrive in Durango, a city in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. Our first stop will be the Francisco Villa Museum, dedicated to Pancho Villa, a key figure in the Mexican Revolution.

Next, we will tour Durango by taking its emblematic cable car, which provides views of the old town. We will walk through this area to see its colonial buildings, including the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Around midday, we will enjoy a picnic lunch featuring local products. Following lunch, we will continue exploring the historic centre of Durango, with a visit to the picturesque Plaza del IV Centenario.

We will then return to Mazatlan, with an expected arrival at your hotel around 6 pm.

Hotel Pick Up

The tour includes hotel pick up from the following areas in Mazatlan: Centro, Malecon, Dorada, and Cerrito. If your accommodation is outside this area, you will be picked up at Boulevard Marina, int 58 (Centro).
