Day Trip to Durango

Your journey begins at 6 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Mazatlan. We will then embark on a northern drive along the Durango highway. Our route features the remarkable Baluarte Bridge, recognized as one of the highest cable-stayed bridges globally.

After approximately 90 minutes on the road, we will arrive in Durango, a stunning Mexican city nestled within the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. Our first destination will be the Francisco Villa Museum, dedicated to the legendary Pancho Villa, a pivotal character in the Mexican Revolution.

The next phase of our adventure involves taking a ride on the city's iconic cable car, granting us breathtaking views of the historic town. Following this, we will explore the surroundings on foot to admire the exquisite colonial architecture, including the renowned Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

As midday approaches, we'll pause for a well-deserved break, savoring a delightful picnic lunch featuring an array of locally sourced products. Our exploration will continue as we wander through the charming historic center of Durango, highlighted by the picturesque Plaza del IV Centenario.

In the late afternoon, we will begin our return journey to Mazatlan, with an expected arrival at your hotel around 6 pm.
