Durango Day Trip
After picking you up at 6 am from your hotel in Mazatlan, we will drive north on the Durango highway, crossing the Baluarte Bridge. After approximately 90 minutes, we will arrive in Durango, a city in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. Our first stop will be the Francisco Villa Museum, dedicated to Pancho Villa, a key figure of the Mexican Revolution.
Next, we will admire the city from the cable car, which provides views of the old town. We will walk through this area to see colonial buildings, including the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Around midday, we will have a break for a picnic lunch featuring local products. After lunch, we will explore the historic center of Durango, highlighting the Plaza del IV Centenario.
Finally, we will return to Mazatlan, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 6 pm.
Hotel Pick Up
The tour includes hotel pick up in the following areas of Mazatlan: Centro, Malecon, Dorada, and Cerrito. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will pick you up at Boulevard Marina, int 58 (Centro).
