Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Mazatlán Marina. There, we'll set off on a speedboat ride in search of the impressive humpback whales that inhabit the Gulf of California.

An expert in marine biodiversity will accompany us on our whale-watching tour to help identify the creatures along the way. You're encouraged to have your cameras ready to capture unique sights like a humpback whale leap above the ocean. Other native marine creatures, including dolphins, turtles, sea lions and manta rays, may also be observed.

While exploring the Mazatlán coastline, we'll participate in real monitoring projects, helping to identify various marine life and recording whale behaviour patterns with the team. This tour actively supports local whale rescue, beach clean-up, and environmental education, offering a unique contact with nature.

Afterwards, we'll return to the harbour to conclude the activity and take you back to your hotel 3 hours later.

Whale sightings around Mazatlán are common, but depend on numerous factors such as weather and ocean conditions. We cannot guarantee sightings of any species of whale.

Whale Museum

You will receive tickets to visit the MUNBA, the Whale Museum, at the end of the whale watching tour. These tickets can be used at any time during your stay in Mazatlán, providing an opportunity to learn about whales and their role in the marine ecosystem.
