Looking for a day full of adventure in Antioquia? Learn how to raft as you go down Samaná River and enjoy a perfect view of the Colombian jungle!

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Medellin and journey south to San Luis, located in the Antioquia region.

Upon reaching the city's central park, we'll transition to our off–roading vehicle to reach the forest. Once there, we'll hike for approximately 40 minutes to an hour along a canyon.

Our hike will culminate at a riverside location, where we'll experience rafting on the Samaná River. Equipped with safety helmets and vests, we'll navigate the waters aboard an inflatable raft.

We will raft for approximately 3 to 4 hours over a distance of 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles), confronting big waves, swirling whirlpools, and thrilling rapids.

Our rafting trip will conclude with a picnic lunch featuring sausages and fresh, locally sourced fruits. We will return to San Luis by off–roading vehicle after lunch, then switch transportation back to Medellin, dropping you off at your hotel about 9 hours after pickup.
