On this night tour of Medellín, we'll discover the most Bohemian side of this Colombian city, as well as its cultural and artistic history.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre. Once we're all together, we'll begin this night tour of bohemian Medellín.
Admiring the façade of the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre, we will explore the history of theatre, music and culture in Medellín. After this initial stop, we'll walk towards the Palace of Fine Arts, Colombia's centre for artistic studies, known for its unique atmosphere.
Our next stop will be Periodista Park, where we will discover numerous iconic bohemian venues in the city center, featuring salsa, tango, rock and jazz bars.
Next, we will visit the Bomboná Towers, a former women's jail and now a significant residence in the San Ignacio neighbourhood.
Finally, we will explore two of Medellín's cultural houses to learn about local entertainment.
After 3 hours together, the tour will conclude back at the starting point.
