On this night tour of Medellín, we'll discover the Bohemian side and cultural history of this Colombian city.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre. Once assembled, we'll begin the night tour. The tour starts by admiring the façade of the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre, where we’ll explore the history of theatre, music, and culture in Medellín. After this, we'll walk towards the Palace of Fine Arts, a centre for artistic studies with a unique atmosphere.
The next stop will be Periodista Park, where we’ll discover several iconic bohemian venues in the city center. Salsa, tango, rock, and jazz bars are key attractions in this area.
We'll proceed to visit the Bomboná Towers, an architectural landmark that was formerly a women's jail, located in the San Ignacio neighbourhood.
Finally, we'll visit two of Medellín's cultural houses to learn about local entertainment options.
After 3 hours, the tour will conclude back at the starting point.
