On this night tour of Medellín, we'll discover the Bohemian side of this Colombian city alongside its cultural and artistic history.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre. Once assembled, we'll begin the night tour of bohemian Medellín.
We will start by admiring the façade of the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre and explore the history of theatre, music, and culture in Medellín. Next, we’ll walk to the Palace of Fine Arts, a center for artistic studies with a unique atmosphere.
Our next stop will be Periodista Park, where we will encounter numerous iconic bohemian venues. Salsa, tango, rock, and jazz bars are the main attractions in this area.
We will then visit the Bomboná Towers, an architectural highlight of the Paisa city, formerly a women's jail now a notable resident area in the San Ignacio neighbourhood.
Finally, we will visit two of Medellín's cultural houses to learn about local entertainment options.
After 3 hours, the tour will conclude back at the starting point.
