If you're looking for an adventure near Medellín, you'll love our Calderas River Rafting Activity! We'll explore the beauty of Antioquia in a unique way as we spend a day surrounded by sun, crystal-clear water, and the jungle.

Description

Having picked you up from the Masaya Hostel at the designated time, we'll set off for the Calderas River. Let's go on an adventure!

Upon arrival, we'll review safety measures and distribute the necessary rafting equipment.

Then we'll embark on our rafts to navigate the Calderas River, facing rapids, whirlpools, and rough waters with drops of up to 5 feet (1.5 metres).

We'll spend around 3 hours enjoying the emerald waters, mountains, and diverse bird and plant species around us.

During the activity, we'll pause for a light lunch (vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options available) and enjoy a refreshing dip in the river.

Afterward, we'll continue until we reach the bridge of the Samaná River, where a minibus will take us back to Medellín.

After a total of 7 hours, we'll conclude the rafting activity and say our goodbyes at the meeting point in Medellín.
