Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Medellin to set off to the town of Cisneros, where we'll embark on a fun hike. About an hour later, we'll reach Principal Park, where we'll begin this medium-level hike covering 4.9 miles (8 kilometers). We'll stroll along the trails that wind through the Cerro el Carmelo mountains while admiring the emerald-green landscapes.

In the afternoon, we'll take a break to revitalize with a traditional Colombian lunch. Afterward, we'll continue our journey, passing by some of the 17 Charcos de Cisneros, including Santa Gertrudis, La Represa, La Bruja, and El Azul. These natural pools are known for their serene, crystal-clear waters. Finally, we'll begin our journey back to our starting point, arriving after this 6-hour hike.
