Coffee Tour of Coatepec

Between 9 am and 9:20 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Boca del Río and proceed to the city of Coatepec.

The first stop will be at a coffee farm, where we will learn about the origin of coffee, including how the fruit seeds are collected and roasted, as well as the entire process until they reach consumers.

Next, we will visit the old Café Bola de Oro mill, a market leader for more than 40 years. Here, we will explore how the machinery in the production process has evolved over time.

Throughout the day, we will participate in a coffee tasting, learning to differentiate the nuances, aromas, and flavors of various types of beans. The experience will conclude with a visit to the Pacho Nuevo hacienda, known as the hacienda of Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios.

After this visit, we will return to the minibus for your transfer back to your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 pm and 8:30 pm.
