Comuna 13 Street Art Tour

We will meet at Parque del Poblado at the indicated time to start our street art tour of Medellin using a van decorated with graffiti (graffivan).

Our destination is Comuna 13, formerly considered one of the most dangerous areas of Medellin. The tour will showcase how urban art has transformed the commune's drug trafficking and criminal past.

The first stop will feature artists performing improvisations on cultural and current affairs. We will then see graffiti on the first escalators in Colombia, which comprise six sections and rank among the world's longest escalators in a neighborhood.

Throughout the tour, we will explore stories behind the street art, focusing on messages of hope and a bright future for Medellin and a message of peace from Comuna 13 to the world.

Before concluding, we will visit the Casa de Neón, offering a unique experience with paint and light, ideal for photography.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the starting point after 4 hours.
