Trip to Cordoba and Orizaba
Your day begins with a convenient hotel pickup in Boca del Rio, occurring between 8:00 and 8:20 am. We will then embark on a comfortable minibus ride, covering approximately 70 miles to reach the stunning city of Cordoba.
Upon arrival, we will explore the Coffee Museum, where engaging exhibits will guide you through the intriguing history of coffee production. You will also have a chance to sample the delightful locally crafted beverage.
Following the museum visit, the journey continues to the historic center for a guided exploration of the "city of 30 knights." Accompanied by an expert guide, you will discover key landmarks, including the impressive Zevallos Gate, the site where the notable Treaty of Cordoba was signed. Gain insight into this significant event through our guide’s narrative.
Before moving on, you will enjoy 30 minutes of free time to have lunch at your discretion. Our guide will gladly suggest some of the finest dining options to enhance your culinary experience.
Rejuvenated, we will board the minibus once again and make our way to the neighboring city of Orizaba. Here, we will visit the remarkable Art Museum as well as the stunning Iron Palace. If schedules permit, you might also ride the cable car to the peak of Cerro Borrego hill, where spectacular views of Orizaba and the picturesque landscape await you.
The tour concludes with your return to Boca del Rio, where we expect to arrive between 8:00 pm and 8:20 pm.
