Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Calle 9, next to El Poblado Park, and make our way east on a traditional chiva. While we travel, we'll enjoy a tasting of three traditional Colombian products. Our first visit will be to the Alto del Chocho Farm, where we will see animals such as alpacas, llamas, pigs, and horses.
After this, we'll reach Guatapé. Our first stop will be at Piedra del Peñol, where you can climb 740 stairs for views of the Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir.
Next, we'll explore Guatapé's historical centre and its colorful streets, including a popular spot decorated with umbrellas. Following our visit, we’ll enjoy a full Paisa lunch at a restaurant on the pier. After lunch, we will take a boat trip across the Guatapé Reservoir to visit La Manuela estate.
At the estate, we'll have a guided tour of its remains and 1 hour of free time to engage in activities such as paintball, jet skiing, or ATV rentals. Finally, we will board the boat to return to Guatapé, where the chiva will take us back to Medellín, concluding the trip after 10 to 11 hours.
