Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Calle 9, next to El Poblado Park, and from this point in Medellín, we'll make our way east on a traditional chiva. During the trip, we'll enjoy a tasting of three traditional Colombian products and visit Alto del Chocho Farm to see animals such as alpacas, llamas, pigs, and horses.
Next, we'll reach Guatapé. Our first stop will be at Piedra del Peñol, where you can ascend 740 stairs for views of the Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir.
We'll then explore Guatapé's historical centre, known for its colorful streets and Instagram spots. Afterward, we'll enjoy a full Paisa lunch at a pier restaurant before taking a boat across the Guatpé Reservoir to La Manuela estate.
At the estate, you'll undergo a guided tour and have about 1 hour of free time for optional activities like paintballing, renting a jet ski, or an ATV.
Finally, we'll return to Guatapé by boat and take the chiva back to Medellín, concluding the trip after approximately 10 to 11 hours.
