El Tajín & Papantla Day Trip
Pickup will be from your hotel in Boca del Río as we head north to El Tajín.
This archaeological area is one of the best-conserved examples of Totonac culture. You will see the impressive Los Nichos Pyramid and learn about one of the most important ancient Mexican civilizations.
After exploring the ruins, we will stop at an area with multiple restaurants where you will have approximately an hour and a half for lunch (not included).
Following lunch, we will visit the El Tajín Museum, where your guide will provide insights into the fascinating Totonac culture, their lifestyle, and traditions.
Our next stop will be in the city of Papantla. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour to discover emblematic sites, including the cathedral and a Totonac mural.
At the end of the tour, we will drop you back at your hotel in Boca del Río at approximately 8:30 PM.
