El Tajín & Papantla Day Trip
You will be picked up from your hotel in Boca del Río and head north to El Tajín.
This archaeological area is one of the best-conserved examples of the Totonac culture. You will have the chance to see the impressive Los Nichos Pyramid and learn about this ancient Mexican civilization.
After exploring the ruins, you will have approximately an hour and a half for lunch at a nearby area with multiple restaurants (lunch not included).
Following lunch, you will visit the El Tajín Museum, where your guide will explain more about the Totonac culture, their lifestyle, and traditions.
Your next stop will be the city of Papantla. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the most emblematic places, including the cathedral and a Totonac mural.
The tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel in Boca del Río at approximately 8:30 pm.
